Dear Loyal,
   At this time, none of the Swarovski cubes come in Indian Red.  As far as we know, the only red is the Siam Ruby Color.  There are two new colors - Rose Alabaster and Crystal Blue Metallic.  We try to carry every color that is available.

Have you seen the new cut glass cubes?  They come in 21 colors, 4mm, 6mm and 8mm, and are as close to the Swarovski cubes as we have seen.  The prices are very good and we expect to have a larger selection in the coming months.  - Betty

Dear Leona,
   I am glad you asked that question.  It is a great idea and we are already working on it - I hope that within the next week or so we will be able to show you pictures of all the upcoming class projects.  I have had a sneak preview of some of them...and they are wonderful. - Betty

Dear Betty,
   What do the letters after Nymo mean?  If a pattern calls for Nymo D and there is only Nymo B available is it ok to use the B?  Is there another beading thread that you would recommend other than Nymo? - Confused

Dear Confused,
   The letters you refer to indicate the size.  For seed bead size 15/0, many beaders prefer size "O".  Depending on the beads' hole size, you may be able to use A or B for size 11 and 10 seed beads.  D would be used for 6/0 and 8/0 beads. - Betty

   Thanks so much for writing.  Yes, we can get those items - I have ordered them and they should be here within a few weeks. - Betty

Q: I haven't seen very much new in beads - can you tell me what is coming in?

A: Shhh!  I'm not supposed to tell anybody until everything is in place.  I just have to tell you about all of the wonderful new beads!  Coming in this month we have David Christensen furnace glass beads - lots!  We have dozens of new donut beads in wonderful colors, including the new 2x3mm size.  We will have new heart beads in 6mm, 8mm and 10mm.  There is also a new 5mm dime bead, lots of little drops, daggers and flower beads.  Oh, I almost forgot - we will have about 20 new styles of magnetic hematite beads.  We will also have some new semi-precious in faceted rectangles (including a few stones I never heard of) - I can't wait until they come in.  Also watch for new colors - Grape Jade, Ruby Jade and Candy Jade.

Q: When will the new beads be available to buy?

A: They are being put up a little bit every day - I think that most of them will be up by the middle of January - but come in often and just ask "what's new?"  I just saw them putting some up this morning.
